How does Invisalign® for teens work?

When you begin Invisalign® treatment, we create a series of custom aligners designed specifically for your teeth and your smile goals. You’ll switch to a new set of aligners every two weeks, all from the comfort of home.

That means far fewer adjustment appointments. You’ll only need to visit us every 8–12 weeks so our team can check your progress and provide your next set of aligners.

To get the best results, you’ll need to wear your aligners for 22 hours a day. Invisalign® for teens includes blue wear indicators, so you can easily tell if they’re being worn enough.

And here’s the best part: you can remove your aligners to eat, brush, floss, and enjoy special events. You can also continue playing sports and musical instruments comfortably. Just pop your aligners back in once you’re done!

How do I start Invisalign® treatment?

Your Invisalign® treatment journey begins with a free assessment at any of our three convenient Canberra locations. During this visit, we’ll examine your smile, discuss your goals, and determine if it’s the right time to begin orthodontic treatment.

If you’re a suitable candidate, we’ll use our state-of-the-art iTero 3D scanner to create a highly accurate digital model of your teeth in seconds. Dr Pazios will then design your personalised treatment plan from start to finish.

Once your custom aligners are ready, you’ll come in for a fitting appointment, and your smile transformation begins.
