Invisalign® for teens

You can sport a big smile all throughout your orthodontic treatment with Invisalign® clear aligners. That’s because these custom aligners don’t need any metal brackets or wires to straighten your teeth. In fact, they are virtually invisible when you smile - perfect for conscious teenagers!

How does Invisalign® for teens work?

If you sign up for Invisalign® treatment, we will create a series of aligners custom-designed for your exact smile goals and needs. To progress through your treatment, you’ll simply change to a new set of aligner trays every two weeks from the comfort of home.

That means you won’t need to come in for regular adjustment appointments. You’ll only need to check in with our practice every 8-12 weeks to ensure your treatment is going according to plan, and receive your next series of aligners.

To achieve the best results, you’ll need to wear your aligners for 22 hours out of the day. We’ll include blue wear indicators on your aligners to help you check if you’re wearing them enough.

The good news is, you can remove your aligners for eating, brushing and flossing and important social events. Just remember to put your aligners back in when you’re finished. You can even continue your favourite sports and activities all throughout your treatment!

How can I start Invisalign® treatment?

First, you’ll need to come in for a free Invisalign® assessment at one of our three convenient locations in Canberra. We will examine your smile to assess whether it’s the right time to begin orthodontic treatment, and if you are a candidate for Invisalign® clear aligners.

If you’re ready to start your Invisalign® journey, we’ll use our cutting-edge iTero scanner to create a 3D model of your smile within seconds. Your Specialist Orthodontist will use this 3D model to design your custom treatment plan from start to finish.

We’ll let you know when your custom aligners have been created, and we’ll schedule a fitting appointment with you to begin!
